15 Weeks

Here is this weeks picture. It was late last night while we watched Christmas movies and waiting for Ella to go to sleep so I could get some wrapping done. She is eating up a storm this week, almost double of last week. There is so much to do here, cleaning, wrapping, and photo shoots Oh my. So back to getting ready for the holidays I go.

14 Weeks

This week we moved up a size of diapers..... size 3 means 3 months right???? We also introduced formula just a small amount mixed into a bottle, which she held herself so I could fix dinner for the kids. What your counting and notice that this is last weeks post, so ask me how my week was and I'll lie and tell you it was great he he he.

Happy Birthday To Me!

Wow I never would have guessed that by the time I was 34 I would have so much trouble stringing sentences together. But alas here in my lovable fog I have stumbled upon another birthday. This birthday will not be spent in Cuba, which several of my pre children ones were

Oh wait that's upside down, maybe I woke up too early this morning.....
No instead of relaxing on the beach with an "ifer" cake* I will get up early to feed children, get them dressed as they scream at me the injustices of the world. I will cram them into car seats to take them were other people will look after them for awhile so I can go out and spoil myself with a little pampering. Then weather permitting we'll head out for dinner just Ant and I.
I requested a pink cake, then was informed yesterday that that was for Ava's birthday and I should just stop right there. So it was decided that I could indeed have a purple cake, YUM either way.

The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful so we are not headed out tonight. Not that I'm complaining. I'm looking forward to the best spaghetti ever, monkey bread and purple cake with my favorite people in the world..... My family

13 Weeks

Oh how the weeks are flying by. I'm soaking up as much of Ella's babyness as I can. She is so sweet, her cry is so delicate and heartbreaking. She is articulate and although her vocabulary is small she puts great effort into every word. She has amazing siblings who hate to see her cry, their attempts to sooth her are almost always a success. She loves to be held and you must be standing. Sitting is for sissies. She sleeps for a good span at night..... most nights. Soft blankets are her tired eyes worst enemy, a second wrapped in their coziness and she is lost in sleep. Her pets, a monkey, parrot and frog whom circle around on her mobile, have her gazing up in smiles and coos. As I spend my days trying to keep things together she has slipped out of infancy and into babyhood with chubby cheeks and giggles.

Some nights work out..... Some do not!!!!!

So many posts these days get started and then left behind. This night happened the 13th of November. This was one of those nights that did not flow. Ella was a little cranky and Ethan was so tired that he ended up asleep on the couch. And while all this was going on Ava was helping me out in the bath room cleaning with potty water.

Looking back it's kinda funny :P

Giggles

I almost forgot to post it here again, Ella started giggling on Sat Nov 21. She was having her first bath in the big tub, she is now pretty much to long to fit in the baby tub and the plug has leaked twice now soaking the carpet. She was splashing away, I so wish I had the video camera with me. I was alone Ant was at work boo. I will make sure that I bring the camera with me next time so I can share her cuteness with you :)

11 Weeks

Oh the stories she can tell. I love the way she watches in wonder at what is going on around her. Ella has now realized the greatness of older siblings. She breaks into a smile just by the sounds of their voices and becomes even more excited if they come into sight. The other morning the three of them were playing in our bed, all giggling away as they tickled each other. The bambinos were so gentle with her.
Her sleeping patterns are really good, although last week was the week she stopped sleeping much of the day. She is a very happy baby as long as she is in your arms, she loves to be taken around and around the house looking at everything. We are all in love!

Apple Pie

I have found a recipe for cookies that I love, it's a combo of a couple of recipes I found on line and some things I changed myself and I love them. I will make them for you when you come for a visit:)
So I am moving on to pies, I started with apple. Ant's favorite, that way he can eat them and I wouldn't gain 100lbs finding a good recipe. So pie number one, not a great success. It's edible sure, but no prizes are given for edible. So back to the kitchen, I'll let you know how the next one turns out:)

8 Weeks

So we have made it to two months, Ella is doing great, smiling and talking away at us. Ava and Ella have become fast friends although Ava still goes running if Ella starts to cry.

This past week I was sick again, but I didn't get as bad as last time. Ella is still sleeping great, I hope she keeps it up. Still no time to write anything with any substance, maybe some day again I'll have a bit of time.
My sister threw me a Celebration for Ella this weekend I want to that those of you who came you all mean so much to me!!!!!
And Nik thank you for all your thoughtfulness.

4 Weeks

Now that I have a moment, which actually is stolen, I'm meant to be at work. I can't believe it's been a month, a month of growing and adjusting, but we are all doing great. I have to admit that I was expecting a rougher ride, which I'm sure could still be looming over the horizon, but so far with the odd bump and a couple of tears we are managing well.

Ella holds her head up well and is very alert. She loves to be held, close and cuddly. She's just gone through a growth spurt, we'll see how much she weights on Wed, we have her one month Dr's appointment. My guess is about 9.5 lbs and at least an inch taller then at her one week appointment. Sleeping is still pretty good, some nights are a little rough, but the good nights are great.

3 Weeks

I missed last week and I'm late this week, but here we are (I know I'm working on the Bambinos Birthday post too I'm a little behind here well everywhere actually :P)

Dear Ella,

I am loving this time with you. You are cute and cuddly, and always like to be held. You are an amazing sleeper so far, a couple of good naps during the day and 5 to 7 hours at night. You make the cutest little cooing noise as you stop crying. We call it your terradactyl cry, I hate to see you cry, but love that little noise. Your brother and sister are so in love with you. Ethan wants to hold you and just hang out, he kisses you and tries to calm you if you are crying. Ava is always pointing out that you are a cutie patootie and loves to hang around when I'm doing things with you. I can't believe how lucky I am to have all of you.

I was sick last week and you were a superstar. You slept for me most of the time, and when you weren't we had great help from your Nanny, Grandad, Auntie Nikki and Mr Chris. We made a trip to the hospital and you were really patient, they didn't know how or why I had such a high fever. So all that waiting and we were sent home being told to take Tylenol and sleep. I was feeling better by Sunday and we headed out to visit Mr Chris's Grannie. She made the birthday cakes for you brother and sister. We need to thank her for all her hard work. You slept through almost the whole trip, you did get up for a snack, but missed all the animals.

I can't believe how fast you are growing I swear I put you in a sleeper in the morning and by the end of the day it no longer fits. You become more beautiful each and everyday, I can't stop staring at you.

A Mother of Three

With my past infertility being a mother of three just seemed unattainable. I in the darkest moments wondered if I would be a mother of one. I was blessed with twins and would have lived happily with this for the rest of my life. In my heart though I wanted more, I was not willing to go to the extreme that we went to last time, but I knew that if we were to be blessed with one more I would be over the moon. So here I sit in a house without a single room in order, flies driving me crazy, living on one and a half hours of sleep (two 45 min sessions in the last 36 hour and yet I'm the happiest I've ever been. Here's why........
