Miss Chief

here is where the plan is formulated
looking for the right moment
Oh the stealth, oh the giggles

First, learn how it's done

then blend in

and when the time is right
seize the moment

Miss Chief
she is bringing life here to
a whole nother level
of mischief

Guess who started crawling today? The same girl who took her first steps last week, it's never to early to start reliving your youth I guess.

A whole year?A WHOLE YEAR?What? really when did this happen. One moment I was holding this tiny itty bitty baby and pacing the house to get her to sleep, now you scooch around the house like you own the place. Looking back a little I wish I had written more, taken more pictures and yes filled out your baby book. But being me in spades that didn't happen. What I did do was breath you in everyday and love you more then I thought my heart could expand. I lived these moments with you and loved every moment of your first year. Although the stresses of the first couple of months have blurred me into the past as a tired overwhelmed mommy brained crazy lady, I feel confident that I would not change any moment with you for we are a perfect match.
You have no teeth and eat like crazyYou love beans, cheese and like everything else we give you
You are almost walking, you can get anywhere in the house holding onto the walls
You still use a sue-sue (what you call your soother)
You are trying to cut out your bottles, and you won't drink milkYou know where all your clothes belong on your body, and have fallen in love with shoesYou have great fine motor skills
You are still only sleeping in your crib part of the time
You don't like to fall asleep and miss anything

You birthday today, brought me back to last year while we were waiting in the delivery room, me you your daddy and your Auntie Nikki. I was so at peace in those moments, love all the color of the rainbow shone threw the room. You were a girl, and perfect and small. Now you have become such a little person I can hardly believe it. You are loved by so many and are so lucky to have so many great people in your life.

May your eyes always sparkle, and your smile never break
May your reach out and love all, and always believe in your self
For you my beautiful daughter the world is at your door
You fell asleep in my arms tonight, I will miss that when you are older, but I bet there will be so many cool ways we will spend time together that as much as that will be missed I will be in awe of you forever.
love,
Mommy

Her Eyes Are Blue

Ella 18 weeks
This week Ella found her hands, she reaches and plays with toys. I am also aloud to hold her and sit at the same time, this is not a milestone, but trust me my feet think so. This is night 2 of a great routine everyone asleep by 8:30 and the evening to myself. So yet again I'm headed to bed early. I'm working on getting rid if the bags under my eyes.

17 weeks

New this week, blowing bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles which means drool, drool and more drool. We are on the cusp of 4 months and I can't believe how big Ella has gotten. I weight her today and she is 16 lbs. Not sure how long she is, I'm taking her into the doctors tomorrow because of a cough so I should find out then.

14 Weeks

This week we moved up a size of diapers..... size 3 means 3 months right???? We also introduced formula just a small amount mixed into a bottle, which she held herself so I could fix dinner for the kids. What your counting and notice that this is last weeks post, so ask me how my week was and I'll lie and tell you it was great he he he.

13 Weeks

Oh how the weeks are flying by. I'm soaking up as much of Ella's babyness as I can. She is so sweet, her cry is so delicate and heartbreaking. She is articulate and although her vocabulary is small she puts great effort into every word. She has amazing siblings who hate to see her cry, their attempts to sooth her are almost always a success. She loves to be held and you must be standing. Sitting is for sissies. She sleeps for a good span at night..... most nights. Soft blankets are her tired eyes worst enemy, a second wrapped in their coziness and she is lost in sleep. Her pets, a monkey, parrot and frog whom circle around on her mobile, have her gazing up in smiles and coos. As I spend my days trying to keep things together she has slipped out of infancy and into babyhood with chubby cheeks and giggles.

Giggles

I almost forgot to post it here again, Ella started giggling on Sat Nov 21. She was having her first bath in the big tub, she is now pretty much to long to fit in the baby tub and the plug has leaked twice now soaking the carpet. She was splashing away, I so wish I had the video camera with me. I was alone Ant was at work boo. I will make sure that I bring the camera with me next time so I can share her cuteness with you :)

11 Weeks

Oh the stories she can tell. I love the way she watches in wonder at what is going on around her. Ella has now realized the greatness of older siblings. She breaks into a smile just by the sounds of their voices and becomes even more excited if they come into sight. The other morning the three of them were playing in our bed, all giggling away as they tickled each other. The bambinos were so gentle with her.
Her sleeping patterns are really good, although last week was the week she stopped sleeping much of the day. She is a very happy baby as long as she is in your arms, she loves to be taken around and around the house looking at everything. We are all in love!
