Rainy Day

A wonderful life.......
Well everything I've ever wanted really, just some days prove to test you in your desires. I mean really I'm limited to the amount of water that goes down the drain (one to two flushes a day) my teeth have decided on a Friday night to start to hurt (no dentist till Mon) and it's raining and we all know that little bambino thrive in this weather, well their whining, little patience side does any way. And to all this I say thank you for the house we have to live in and the life I have to feel the pain and last but not least the children I have dreamed of all my life :)

Coming out with road rage

I think this kid is going to come out with it's fists clenched and it's teeth a grinding (I subconsciously wrote his both times there). I love my life, but all the dang stress can take a hike already. Although I could have sworn that the bambinos would have come out screaming at poorly drive automobiles and they have yet to do any such thing. I find my self trying to think back to before the they were born how did I picture them, how much of what I made up about them was actually true. I mean my kids were amazing really they never cried they slept through the night and well everybody loved them... well the last part is true, but man oh man. Truthfully though I have amazing kids, I know there are tantrums, but I swear I'm really working at controling my emotions and I've stopped flailing on the floor cuz that really sets a bad example. So maybe just maybe this kid will fit in with my plan and just be the picture of relaxation..... if not we'll just have to vacation more :P

Baby Ticker

I added it for you so that at least something changes daily when you come to visit. I was whining earlier in a post I started that I had nothing to write about, then I remembered I haven't told you anything about Ava falling down the stairs or green pancakes. I have failed to mention anything about having to travel 45 mins to shower and do laundry, now that is combined with great meals and company so really it's worth the drive (thanks Jenny and John).
I'm heading out now for a shower so I'll fill you in on all.... OK some of the details of life here when I get home.

Dr. Appointment

This is my second appointment so far and it was a fast one. I think I might have been there for all of 15 mins. My appointment was for 12;45 and I was out of there before 1. Weight gain so far... well the scale yelled out "stop eating chips" even before I stepped on. I took that as a sign and covered my ears refusing to hear anything else it had to say. My blood pressure is normal.... which I find hard to believe seeing as there is a big hole in the back yard where a fully functional septic tank should be, but you all know that and came here to read fun stuff not the stink that is my back yard. So back to Baby, I was given a due date of Sept 6 2009, almost a whole two weeks before we will be throwing Ava and Ethan their third birthday party. The heart beat was found within seconds of the Doppler touching my stomach. Such a sweet sound. I will get to belly picks soon, I'll make Ant take some this week when he gets home.

They say stress takes years off your life, so when I went into the beer store last night and they ID me I wasn't all that shocked. I can see our situation shaving off at least 15 years of my life.

Simplicity

One very sick girl, one backed up septic tank. If I say anymore I would just be whining at you!

A brief overview of our trip

Florida was great, a little cool at times, but we spent lots of time on the perfect beach. Ava was really mad to have to put back on her boots. And I just didn't, I wore mine till we got home. This was our first vacation with kids and it plays out a bit different then an all inclusive when time stretches out before you till you have to head home.
The Bambinos just fell in love with the whole thing, well maybe not so much with the two day drive on either end. There was a deck and a patio door they could go in and out as they pleased, well until one of the adults got to cold or ran out of patients with the door slamming back and forth. We had great walks at sunset, dug great holes on the warm beach, play for hours on playground equipment. We were lucky enough to have gone with Ant's family, the bambinos finally got to spend some time with their Auntie Amelia and their Uncle Jon. I think Ava might have even smile in Uncle Jon's direction after spending a week in the same house. Thank You Nanny and Grandad, Auntie Amelia and Uncle Jon we had a wonderful trip :)
