Hand in Hand

I love when it's my kids who are being the best is show. Out in public it's a crap shoot as the the behaviour that will appear. I have had great times and well I've left places in tears and hopes that no one saw my face with enough clarity to remember it. Today however they, the bambinos were perfect. They walked around the grocery store hand in hand looking too cute for words. And in some miraculousness they stayed near me, like within reach closeness, without me say any more then please stay around mommy. I even had people comment on this behaviour so cool, much better then the looks of can't you control you children in public.

STOP-BOOTS

These are the two word that the bambinos know how to spell. Ethan spelt stop first, he gets stuck on the s, but once he's past that he is a pro. Ava can spell both as plan as day. She love to put on her boots and dance around "B O O T S boots". So cute, I'm thinking their names would be the next thing to start working on. Any suggestions?

Yesterday went awesome!!!!

Now it wasn't perfect, I somehow ended up asleep in Ava's crib and there was some poop found on the floor, but the poop was found and I didn't break the crib so over all woohoo!!!
One of the best things about having twins is to watch how different they are from each other in the moment, not between siblings years apart, I don't have a memory that can retain detailed information over that span of time. Potty training is the same, so different. One will pee on demand, when there is a smartie to be had there is peeing to be done. The other wanders around till they have a small accident then bee line it to the potty smarties or no smarties they will go when the they need to. I have to say after all the attempts we've made before this time gives me hope, although with 2 days in daycare and a weekend at Nanny and Grandad's I'm thinking that we will have start from scratch, but that's OK because I saw the light at the end of the tunnel and it didn't involve me spending all my time doing laundry instead of changing diapers :)

What are you doing today?

That's a good question. I'm potty training well more like potty trainer, yep I've had enough of changing diapers and would like a little reprieve before we start all over again. Today is the best day yet, I've attempted before, but never with smarties as a bribe. My day has been and will be broken down into 10 increments. The timer chimes on the stove at we all three run for the potty. They each take their turn after which they receive their smarty colour of choice of course. I get one too it keeps me happy while I'm cleaning accidents off the floor.
We have had sucsess today so far it's a good thing cuz I just bought a full thing of diapers and well I wouldn't want to have to use them or anything.

The Big One

I love ultrasounds! I love watching the movement I feel. Too catch a glimpse of the person being created within. I do not get to do this once a month as I did last time and I miss it. I miss the rush I get. All looks well there are finger and toes, a heart beat (154 if you need one more clue for your guess) and it is growing like a weed. The baby is now measuring at almost 25 weeks(actual 23 weeks 4 days), this does not work with my schedule as I have a first birthday to attend in the middle of Aug. I'm guessing this is going to be a big baby, it weighs it at 1lb 13oz almost 13 oz ahead of schedule. I'm not going to panic though big baby's sleep well right ????? Just say yes and put a big smile on your face I live in denial..... last night if I had added an infant into the mix I might not have slept at all. I would have had to slat the baby in for 11:30pm and 5am, I hope this bubble falls right into place.

It's a Tradition

That Anthony is not home on Mother's Day to take a photo of the three of us together. I'm then forced to stay patient while I try to take a half decent picture of us, to have everyone in a close enough space that we all show up in the same photograph. So after what seemed like forever here is the best we got. It's better then last years Mother's day Picture , my favorite is still the first year. Which I posted last year as well.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there. Especially You Mom!

Picture Day

22Weeks 4Days

It's not a great photo, but it's at least shows you where I'm at.

So I missed a day, you all forgive me right?
I hope so, Ant got home yesterday at about 10 pm and Ava was still awake so there was not much of the me time I was hoping for. I got the dishes all done before I passed out though :P
Yesterday was play group and I almost didn't make it Ethan just kept bed hoping curling up on what ever soft surface he could find. There was not temp so finally we got out the door and they both had a great time.
Today was a great Daddy day, they love it when Daddy is home everything that we all do together is just that little bit more exciting. We went to the park in Kingston and a little hike with the dogs. The little bubble is a mover I think I feel more movement with just one then I did with both of the bambinos.

Play Park

Today was so much better, the smell of Lysol seems to have settled.

Our goal today was to all get out of the house and head to the park. The Bambinos get so excited about going to the park. As soon as you mention park Ava starts jumping around, sings out "OK Play Park" and heads for the door. You have to be careful not to mention it before you're ready to go because neither of them really care about things like clothes. They are in their boots and coats before you can turn around. Today was so beautiful we met up with Nanny and Grandad for this trip to the park. Lots of climbing, running and a small game of soccer. Hopefully we will all sleep through the night.

Ha ha the joke is on me, even before I could post this Ethan's bed has a nice layer of Lysol and all his sheets are in the wash.
Good night all I don't think I'll be getting much sleep again tonight.

Ava's Shiner

I just realized that I didn't post the picture of Ava's shiner so here is at least one picture I've been meaning to post.

How was your day?

Mine well I had to choose between Lysol and vomit as how my house should smell and I know your not wondering which i picked. Ava can't keep food or beverages down, but has no fever so to speak. She is whinier then usual, but really I can attributed that to her asking for snacks and juice. Which I'm afraid to give her because she can't keep it down.
Ethan had a great day, he was rescued from the house of Lysol by his Auntie Nikki and Mr. Chris. They went to a huge garage sale, ate hot dogs and play at the park. I am so grateful he is not the most patient.... wait I should just say that he is two and after a day of not doing very much he becomes a bit of a handful and ends up spending a lot of time in time out. So for him this was a much better option. I did drag poor Ava outside for a bit it was too nice of a day to stay inside. We played ball with the dog for a bit, but she mostly just cuddled with me. It was better to get some fresh air though. I'm hoping that she is better tomorrow so we can head to Nanny and Grandads for some fun at a new park.

Oh ya I mentioned something about belly pictures yesterday, I hope you understand that I may put it off till tomorrow when I'm not covered from head to toe in the last thing that Ava managed to convince me to feed her.

Every Day In May

I think I'm going to challenge myself to post every day in May. I have let so many little moment slip by and I miss writing.

Does this count as a post?

he he I didn't think so........

Dr's Appointment #3

The Bambinos are fast asleep, it's been a sick filled couple of days. I'm running on very little sleep. I'm looking forward to my head hitting the pillow in the very near future, but I wanted to let everyone know how the Dr's appointment went.

The only stats they actually told me were that I have gained 6lbs in the last 6 weeks. Good news on the blood tests as well, they all came back negative (a good thing). I can only assume that my blood pressure is fine because there wasn't much of a response after she was done taking it. The fetal heart rate was found, but I wasn't told what it was. I managed to ask the two questions that I had regarding my two sick bambinos before she quickly slipped threw the door till my next ten second appointment. I'm being transferred to an OB at the beginning of next month and I am hoping at that point I won't be treated as if this is nothing special or that the information that she collects is of no interest to me.

Ok so now that I got the "terrible Dr" vent out of my system, Ethan was all protective at the Dr's office. He was not impressed in the least with the Dr touching me or seeing me laying there on the table. He kept trying to get in between the Dr and me. He went strait back to calm and fine as soon as she left the room.

And I know, I know "PICTURES ALREADY" There I yelled at me so you don't have too. Maybe tomorrow, if no one throws up on me I will take and post a belly picture.
