The Volume Seems To Be Up

I'm not sure whether it was a baby in the house for the last couple of days that made me notice or not, but the volume level in this house has gone up...... way up. Up enough actually that I would have guessed that there were more then 2 children running around room to room. My house has become one big play room there are toys from one end to the other and I couldn't see the floor in their room after nap time was over. SO I'm thinking I need a make over, not so much a life make over, but definitely a house make over.... oh just make it a new house about twice the size with a play room and a hot tub..... a girl can dream can't she?

Pockets and Pants

Ethan was full of fun little tricks today.
He for the first time got his own pants on, well more like he put on a pare of Ava's pants..... and well.... he put them on backwards, oh and they were stinky out of the dirty laundry basket, but the real point is that he put on pants ALL BY HIM SELF.
He also discovered the coolness of pockets. He wandered around the house with is hands in his sweater pockets, feeling like the coolest thing since........ well that took way to long to come up with something remotely amusing so you can fill in the blank, share if you will in the comments I'd love a giggle or two.

MIA

I see you have all been checking in and well I seem to have vanished into cyberspace. Well we're still here day to day things keep happening, but the winter blahs seem to have gotten the best of me. Even the foosball table does not seem to be working the magic it promised.
I have no new pictures, I haven't even picked up my camera in two weeks.
My Friend Mel is coming for a visit this week, that will shake me up a bit and get my creative juices flowing again ( I guess it only needs to be one flavor of juice really hmmmmm I hope it's orange that's what I'm craving right now)

The Bambino's are doing great and not suffering from the winter blahs. They spend a lot of their days laughing. Oh to find eating fruit funny again :P

I think we are in the clear, everyone is happy and playing this morning. I'm crossing my fingers that I missed this bout of sickness. So far so good :)

Well they have discovered hide and seek this morning. It's really cute, there is only one hiding spot, the closet, but that just doesn't seem to be getting old any time soon.

Ethan went all day without a diaper, only 2 accidents :)

Ava has a big girl bed. Well really it's her crib with one side off for now. Nap time went well :) She felt bad for Ethan so filled his crib up with toys so things were even. She is always looking out for her brother.

Everyone is on the Mend

We spent a wonderful evening together, a little dora and some stories. What I loved most was curling up in bed with my Bambinos. We lay there for a while in the dark talking about our day. I understood very little, but it was an in depth conversation. They are growing into such amazing people.

The Flu

Or at least that's what I think has hit us..... I'm hoping that were are through the worst of it. I haven't had much time for cute little stories, but I have some gross ones that I'm sure you'll appreciate my not sharing with you. So please bare with me until I'm not doing more laundry then number of items in the house...... Maybe I'll think of the cute story while I wash all the towels in the house again

Start.... Stop... Start.... Stop

That is the process I've had for blogging lately and as you can see it produces great posts. I'm usually inspired by photos but, I haven't taken a picture since New Years. Why because my computer is full. I know, I know empty it already, you've been complaining about this for months now, but I have trouble letting go of things..... pictures being one of them. They are saved on another computer and backed up on disk.... you'd think that would allow me to delete, delete, delete, but no that's not the case at all. I riffle through them again and PROCRASTINATE. I need some serious help to clean out this computer. Anyone out there with a bottle of rum some diet coke and time on there hands willing to help.

Shopping 101

Honestly when money is short and you go into the grocery store to get water what do you come out with?

Well the correct answer to that would be water, but unfortunately we have a few screws loose and this was what showed up on the bill.....

• wraps
• tooth brush
• puff pastry
• oxy clean
• foosball table

Does that seem odd to anyone? Ya that's right no water and a foosball table. Are we good or what. We have played every night so far, so at least it's being used:P

Three weeks to find a book

I'm asking for your help. We've lost a library book. I need to know where to look for it. I've been through all the toys over Christmas to clean out all the old ones and "the book" no where to be found. So my question to you is "Where is the weirdest place you've found a library book?" or any book for that matter.

Thank You for almost the Best Christmas ever

We had a wonderful Christmas this year it lasted forever. So much celebrating in such a short time. It took me a couple of days to start breathing again. Everyone was so generous and the amazing dinners, I've gained almost 10 lbs although that might have something to do with the fact that I replaced Ant with Chocolate while he was away. So this would have been the best Christmas if Ant had been here to for all the celebrations...... I only cried twice and one time doesn't count really because I was in tears over how lucky we were and how blessed we are to have our little family. The second however I was all out pathetic, balling over a Santa sighting over North Bay and Ant wasn't there to be all giddy with me, but really who was I kidding even if he was there I'm not so sure he would have gotten giddy.
I was lucky enough to have my sister's brother and sister in-law over for a day over the holidays. We set about the task of putting together the gingerbread house........

So I don't forget here is how it all went down.

Sunday Dec 28 - Was woken up really early to take Ant back to the airport. We were visiting our friends Brian and Mel (and lets not forget about Lexi). I ran to the bathroom right before we left, only to see that my period or what I thought was my period had started. By the time I got home about 4 hours later there was no sign of it, didn't think much of it just thought it would show up later in the day or maybe even the next day it had happened before.

Monday Dec 29 - Woke up to even lighter spotting, again assuming that this was the start of my period. After escaping my bambinos some time later that morning I found that I had been tricked again and my pulse quickened. Years of infertility had trained my brain to jump to conclusions, only apparently this was not to be the same game I was playing before.

Tuesday Dec 30 - Nothing in the morning...... no sign of my period in the afternoon..... I felt crazy as I bundled the kids into the car for an emergency trip to the store to confirm my insanity. I was not pregnant.... I just needed to prove it to myself so that over New Years celebrations I would not feel guilty. But after I finally occupied the bambinos enough to have enough privacy to pee on a stick I stole away to the bathroom. As I watched the test do it's thing, having been warned that results take up to two min to show..... I stopped breathing at about 5 seconds mark...... this is what I saw.......
Now before the results had even hit my brain the phone was ringing. My poor friend Mel, it's a good thing she was a little sleep deprived, cuz our conversation was a mess. I couldn't say anything..... Ant didn't even know yet..... what the..... really?..... Pregnant.... I really suck at keeping secrets, well my own any way. I couldn't talk too much or I would spill the beans. After we got off the phone I waited for Ant to call (I'm really glad I gave him the heads up that I was going to take the test)
